Social Activities

Social activities are a vital part of MAAN that help new and old members to get to know each other better and create a fun yet learning and helping environment. Here are some of the events that MAAN have participated and/or organized in the past.

• MAAN Sports Day at Centennial Park- children participating in Tug-of-War
• Zulfaa Teh presenting the Hon. John Aquilina at the Ethnic School
• Mock Malay Wedding at Darling Harbour for Singapore Tourism
• School excursion to the Mosques of NSW
• Winter 2000 in Sydney
• MAAN at the Australian Museum at a Malay mock wedding
• MAAN marching with pride at the Ethnic School March 1995
• Kompang Group at the Ethnic Parade

Future Events

Every Saturday, excluding school holidays - MAAN Ugama & Bahasa School MAAN's Social weekly get together – for those who would like to chit chat and catch up with the Malays in MAAN. As well as MAAN night, yearly, to celebrate another succesful year of MAAN.

Recent Events

MAAN participate regularly at events where malay food and culture can be exhibited. Satays, Roti Canai, and Malay Kuehs are some of the delicacies sold.
